Who are we? (OOC Info)

We are Magical Academy of Garenhoff's Enchanted - also known as Garenhoff Academy [Mage].We are a server for people who want to explore a structured magical education scene with teachers & students. We encourage people to come up with headcanons as well as talk about established magical concept around the world of Tyria. We hope to discover and explore the world of GW2 through different eyes of characters who are still learning and discovering it themselves. We want to focus not only exploring concepts within Guild Wars 2, but also the growth of characters and the relations between characters & the world around them.Genres: 📚 School / Educational, Magical, Current Timeline, Mystical, Casual - Medium (You get to choose what works best for you!)

What is the Magical Academy of Garenhoff's Enchanted?

Magical Academy of Garenhoff's Enchanted is a tertiary school set in Garenhoff, founded by Abel Stormgust, now run by the current dean Eliza Stormgust. While it is meant for many students to attend after they finished their secondary education at the Garenhoff Wizarding Academy, it can be attended by any elligible students if they meet the study requirements.

Brief History

The Magical Academy of Garenhoff's Enchanted (MAGE) started as the Salma Academy of Gifted Enchanters (SAGE) in Divinity's Reach in 1275 AE during Prince Edair's reign. It started as a small academy for young adults in an attempt to hone their power for the Kingdom of Kryta, though rumors surrounded it that it may have been backed by the Shining Blade. (None proven, even by the Order of Whispers.) Eventually as Jennah came to take over the throne, and Garenhoff became more established as a port town, the academy settled into the village there. Some say that this was spurred by wanting to motivate the students by seeing the Wizard's Tower just outside of their window.Nowadays, currently run by Dean Eliza Stormgust, who inherited the academy from her grandfather, the academy continues to stand strong as a tertiary education for magic users across Tyria, taking in people from different backgrounds and different races.You'll find no better place to explore the magic that Tyria (and beyond) offers us.

Biography

Early years

Sigmund was first acquired from a pet store at a young age when his owner, Robin Avery was still in his early years of being The Raven. As a result, growing up, he became closely connected with Adramalech Khetl's child who would eventually become Louis Greymarsh. Sigmund became a vital addition to The Raven's arsenal alongside Alice. He was soon joined by other birds in the near future.He picked up various habits from Robin as The Raven. Aside from picking up speech, he also learned how complimenting people can easily earn him compliments in return, or food. He became one of Robin's most social, and vocal, pets.

Present

Sigmund is known nowadays for being a raven too smart for his own good. When he is not helping Robin, he will sometimes use waypoints or Asura Gates to get places. He often interacts with people for food or companionship, calling people his friends.He has various nicknames and habits around certain people.He fell in love with another raven once, but after drama with that raven, he is still seeking love and friendship!For a brief moment at a party, he was polymorphed into a human by a Signet of Modesty that he stole from Tristan. However, due to the Signet being experimental, he turned into a man with a blue moa outfit instead of looking like a raven. He decided to be changed back when he realized being human was too complicated and got him less friends.He currently resides with Robin in Wizard's Haven.

Abilities & Skills

Mimicry

" Noooo... "— Sigmund, mimicking Robin's voice.

Like all ravens, Sigmund is able to mimic sounds and voices. He manages to somehow be smart enough to put these together in a sentence to use as a coherent response.
